Live the Original was born out of a desire to see humankind step into their true and original identity.
From the beginning of time, we were formed with intention and purpose — our unique personality, expression, and gifts curated especially for this moment in history, imperative to a world in need.
Throughout life, we pick up beliefs, lenses, and perspectives not our own — shaped by the people around us, the environments we inhabit, and our own lived experiences. Live the Original is, in a sense, a place of unlearning and relearning — a returning to, and a becoming of, the original you.
It’s about throwing off the identities, beliefs, and behaviours that have shaped us but were never part of God’s original intent.
It is a journey, an adventure, a discovery into freedom — the freedom of who we truly are.
My hope is you’ll find something here that resonates—not from someone with all the answers, but from someone learning, questioning, and becoming alongside you.
It’s time to come home and return to who we were always created to be.
Each an original.
About.
and a bit about me..
Kia ora, from Aotearoa New Zealand. I’m Frances.
Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, I’ve always been drawn to new horizons and unfamiliar spaces.
Nine years in Wellington taught me to fall in love with a place’s character; two years in the UK deepened my love for cobblestone streets and uninhibited dreams. Now back in Auckland, I am making the most of quality time with family while awaiting the next adventure. I am most alive in new environments—where inspiration is fresh, stories are waiting to be discovered, and the world feels wide open.
When I’m not tucked up in a good café, people-watching and writing, you’ll find me in the quiet countryside showering my parents’ dogs with affection, befriending any creature I meet, or at the gym keeping active. I have a love for the outdoors, and my favourite escape is a road trip across our country, soaking in the wild, raw beauty of New Zealand.
Live the Original is where the adventure outside and within collide. Come with me on the journey.
